    Guided assessment

    Follow the information supplied to you and complete the two-week guided capsule assessment and daily tracking sheet.

    Final review

    Attend the arranged 20-minute review and share your experience directly with Willerby Dental Care.

Teeth Grinding and Night Guards

Understanding Grinding. Jaw movement is coordinated through signals between the nervous system and the muscles. The Tänder Routine. A bedtime food supplement used alongside daily symptom tracking during the Tänder Evaluation Programme. Jaw Clenching. Clenching places force through the jaw muscles and jaw joints.

Protection. A night guard creates a barrier between the biting surfaces and can help protect your teeth from wear, chipping and fractures caused by grinding or clenching. Wear Over Time. Saliva and repeated grinding can gradually wear the night guard. This may release tiny plastic particles, some of which may be swallowed. The amount released and any long-term health significance are not yet clearly established. Check your guard regularly and replace it if it becomes rough, cracked, loose or heavily worn.
